Firefighters have knocked down a recreational vehicle and garage fire at 8501 Surrey Place in northwest Oklahoma City, Battalion Chief Brian Stanaland said.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department was sent to the location at 4:53 p.m., Stanaland said. The roof over the garage collapsed about 5:15 p.m.

At 5:25 p.m., firefighters reported the bulk of the blaze had been extinguished. They were working to put out hot spots, Stanaland said.
