Amy Welborn's husband, Michael Dubruiel, died in 2009 from a sudden heart attack while he was exercising at a gym.

In “Wish You Were Here: Travels Through Loss and Hope” (Image Books, $14) by Amy Welborn, she relates how she came to grips with his sudden passing and having to raise their two young boys and an older daughter from a previous marriage on her own.

She decides to take her three children on a trip to Sicily.

She tells about her experience with touring Sicily on her own with three children and how memories of her husband kept popping up in unusual places.

This is a great book about Sicily, but more importantly, it shows how one person started working on grieving the loss of her spouse and moving on with her children.

This book is very highly recommended to those who have experienced the loss of a spouse and to those interested in Sicily.
