— Prague opened the second half with an 8-0 scoring run on its way to a 47-36 victory against Sulphur on Friday at Yukon High School. The win secures Prague's appearance in the Class 3A state championship game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at State Fair Arena.

Junior forward Brooke Watkins led all scorers with 12 points for Prague (27-1). Three Lady Devils scored in double figures.

Sulphur (26-2) took a 28-25 lead into the locker room but only managed eight points after halftime. Junior guard Tierani Richardson led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 11 points.

“We built this program up,” Prague coach Jay Depanion said. “It took four years for us to get here. We started three freshmen back then, and now they're seniors. That's what it took. By golly, I'm tickled to death for my girls.”

The Lady Devils will compete against Millwood at 7:30 Saturday night at Yukon.
