Oklahoma veterans program teaches about flag

Veterans group travels across Oklahoma to teach about American flag

The nonprofit Oklahoma Veterans Flag Program travels across the state teaching the history of the U.S. flag in schools and to other organizations.

The group demonstrates the flag-folding ceremony and explains what each fold represents in the ceremony. Patriotic music is played and its significance explained.

Students also are able to ask questions of the veterans as part of the program.
