WHAT HAPPENED

*The forward line of Josh Green, Magnus Paajarvi and Ryan Keller combined for six points Saturday night as the Barons whipped the Grand Rapids Griffins 5-2 before 5,398 fans inside the Cox Center. Green and Paajarvi each had a goal. Keller, who has replaced Teemu Hartikainen on that line, had an assist on Philippe Cornet's team-best 24th goal of the season. Hartikainen is with the Edmonton Oilers.

All-Star goaltender Yann Danis won his 24th game of the season.

The Barons (41-17-9) took a 15-standings points lead over second-place Houston (32-22-12) in the West Division. Houston lost to Rockford on Saturday. Third-place Abbotsford, which was one point behind Houston in the division, hosted San Antonio late Saturday night.

THREE STARS

*1. Magnus Paajarvi, OKC: The 20-year-old Swede had a goal and assist. Paajarvi's fifth goal of the season was the game-winner. It gave Oklahoma City a 3-1 lead with 16:42 left in the second period.

*2. Josh Green, OKC: Paajarvi's linemate added a goal and two assists. Green's 15th score of the year was a pretty one as he pumped his own rebound past Grand Rapids goaltender Tom McCollum in the third period.

*3. Bryan Rodney, OKC: Rodney, who was acquired in a trade with Syracuse for Ryan O'Marra, continued to have an impact for the Barons. The All-Star defenseman assisted on the goals by Paajarvi, Cornet and Green.
