BRAD QUY, NORMAN
Event: 200 Freestyle
The story: After finishing fourth in the event last season, Quy finished second this year to Tulsa Union's Eastman Holloway. He also finished second in the 100 Backstroke after finishing third as a junior.
DYLAN ANDERSON, EDMOND NORTH
Event: 200 IM
The story: Anderson finished fifth in the event for the second consecutive season. He finished fourth in the 500 Freestyle and helped a pair of Huskies' relay teams.
TOMAS ELDER, NORMAN NORTH
Event: 50 Freestyle
The story: Elder finished second in this event and second in the 100 Freestyle to All-City Swimmer of the Year Naresh Naik. He also helped the Timberwolves win a title in the 200 Medley Relay.
SEAN SIMPSON, EDMOND NORTH
Event: 100 Butterfly
The story: Simpson finished third in the event and fourth in the 50 Freestyle while also helping the Huskies to a second-place finish in a relay.
SWIMMER OF THE YEAR
NARESH NAIK, EDMOND MEMORIAL
Event: 100 Freestyle
The story: After sitting out last year following a move from Heritage Hall, Naik came on strong to win the 100 Freestyle and finish third in the 200 Individual Medley.
ZAC COOK, EDMOND MEMORIAL
Event: 500 Freestyle
The story: Cook finished second in the event, behind a record-setting performance from Tulsa Union's Eastman Holloway. He also finished fifth in the 200 Freestyle.
JUSTIN WU, NORMAN NORTH
Event: 100 Backstroke
The story: Wu won the event, edging Norman's Brad Quy. He also finished fourth in the 200 Individual Medley and helped the Timberwolves win the 200 Medley Relay.
MASON YORK, KINGFISHER
Event: 100 Breaststroke
The story: York won the event by more than four seconds over Piedmont's Conner St. John. He also won the 200 IM.
COACH OF THE YEAR
KENT NICHOLSON, NORMAN/NORMAN NORTH
The story: Both of Nicholson's teams turned in strong showings, with Norman North finishing fifth and Norman sixth at the Class 6A meet.
