Two schools in the Moore School District are expected to name head football coaches at Monday's Moore Board of Education meeting.

Southmoore is expected to name Jeff Brickman as its coach.

Brickman has been a longtime assistant for the SaberCats under Chris Jensen. Jensen left the Class 6A program earlier this year to take the head coaching job at Oklahoma Baptist, which is reviving its program in 2013.

Moore, also a 6A program, is expected to name Todd Watters as its coach.

Watters would replace Scott Myers, who accepted the job at Chandler, his alma mater, earlier this year.

Watters most recently served as an assistant in Texas but has previously been the head coach at Hartshorne, Madill and Texhoma.

STRONG START FOR PC'S WOOD

One of the more impressive stories of the track season has been the breakout performance of Putnam City's Schuyler Wood. The sophomore recently recorded the best high jump and long jump of the season by a Class 6A girl, and she did it at the same meet.
