A missing woman has been found safe, police said Tuesday.

Marlena Johnson, 22, was last seen April 3 by a family member. She returned Monday to her aunt's home in Oklahoma City, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

Johnson's aunt told police she received a text message from Johnson's cellphone, saying she was being held hostage and in danger, police reported Friday.

Police do not have further information to share about her disappearance.

“Right now it's still uncertain and unclear exactly where she was during this time period,” Wardlow said.
