How to Help, Get Help

For victims in Woodward:

• The American Red Cross is operating a shelter at the Living Word Fellowship Church, 1310 Oklahoma Ave. Food, health services and a place to sleep are available.


• Water, tarps and other supplies are available at Woodward Church of Christ, 1315 W Hanks Trail.

• Red Cross feeding trucks will be throughout the affected areas in Woodward, offering food and supplies.

• Save receipts for any purchases, because they will be required if federal assistance is granted.

If you want to help:

• Donations can be made to the Thousand Hills Ranch Church Tornado Relief Fund at Bank of Western Oklahoma. The bank can be reached by phone during business hours at (580) 254-5525.

• Donations can be made to the Salvation Army by calling (800) 725-2769 or going online to salvationarmyusa.org and clicking the disaster link.

• Donations can be made to the American Red Cross by calling 228-9500 or going online at www.okc.redcross.org and clicking on the “donate” tab. You also can text “Redcross” to 90999 for a $10 gift that will be added to your next cellphone bill. Business owners can help by calling 228-9500.

• Food donations can be dropped off at the Living Word Fellowship Church, 1310 Oklahoma Ave.

• Clothes can be donated at Joseph's Coat, 417 Main St., a ministry of Woodward First Baptist Church.
