Thunder-Lakers telecast breaks KOCO-5's Thunder ratings record

ABC's national telecast earns 13.7 rating in Oklahoma City

ABC's Thunder-Lakers telecast broke KOCO-5's record for a regular-season Thunder telecast with a 13.7 rating (percent of TV homes), topping at 19.0 for the final quarter-hour of the double-overtime game. The previous record was 12.1 for the Bulls-Thunder game April 1.


KOCO-5's highest Thunder rating ever was 23.4 for Game 7 of the Grizzlies-Thunder playoff series May 15, 2011.

Nationally, the Thunder-Lakers game earned a strong 3.8 overnight rating. ABC is averaging a 3.4 rating this season, a 13 percent increase over last season.
