A Harrah man accused of stabbing a puppy was charged Tuesday in Oklahoma County District Court with felony animal cruelty, court records show.

Witnesses told a sheriff's deputy that Kenneth Don Voss, 23, picked up a black Labrador retriever puppy by the neck, walked over to an abandoned mobile home, stabbed the dog above its rear leg and dropped it to the ground, a probable cause affidavit shows.

Von Doss waited a minute before pulling out the knife, wiping the blood off the knife and driving away in a car, the deputy reported.
