OKC RedHawks power past Colorado Springs

RedHawks 9, Colorado Springs 5

Brett Wallace and Brad Snyder each hit a three-run home run as the RedHawks downed Colorado Springs 9-5 on Tuesday night in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Wallace's homer in the second inning gave the RedHawks a 3-2 lead. Jimmy Paredes added a solo shot in the third inning.

But the Sky Sox rallied and trimmed the deficit to 6-5 entering the ninth inning. Snyder's blast put the game out of reach.

Scott Moore added three hits and two RBIs for the RedHawks.

On the mound

RedHawks starter Paul Clemens (5-3) limited the Sky Sox to four runs on eight hits in five-plus innings.

Sergio Perez, Xavier Cedeno and David Carpenter closed out the game, combining to alow one run on three hits.
