TNT's telecast of Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals got a 32.6 rating in Oklahoma City, the Thunder's second-highest local rating ever, trailing only a 34.1 for Game 5 of the Thunder-Lakers series on May 21. The telecast got a 15.7 in Tulsa. Local ratings for the Western Conference Finals are up 13 percent from last year's series (Thunder-Mavericks) on ESPN. The increase would have been much higher except for a subpar 18.0 for Game 2, which competed against severe weather coverage on May 29 as the Spurs won 120-111.

Game 1 of the Women's College World Series championship series Monday night (OU vs. Alabama) got a 5.8. The Sooners' first three games in the tournament averaged 3.2.
