Home Depot theft investigated
EDMOND — Officers are investigating whether two men arrested in Louisiana are connected to a theft at the Edmond Home Depot store in April, police said. Marquis Lamar Bennett, 20, Fort Worth, Texas, and Curtis Ray Lusk, 20, address unknown, are in custody of the Gonzales, La., Police Department in connection with a series of Home Depot thefts in Texas and Oklahoma, said Jennifer Monroe, Edmond police spokeswoman. Thirteen drills, valued at $3,177, were taken from the Edmond store at 1901 Broadway Ave. on April 25. One of the men dressed as a woman during the theft, Monroe said. Four similar thefts were reported in Texas and one in Oklahoma City, Monroe said.
