The MTV Movie Awards show is always quite the spectacle, both onstage and on the red carpet, and this year's show June 3 was no different. Take for instance, Elizabeth Banks, who plays Effie in "The Hunger Games." Matthew McConaughey, Channing Tatum and a shirtless Joe Manganiello presented Banks, who wore a black jumpsuit, with a golden popcorn trophy for best on-screen transformation. Banks playfully fondled all three men before being carried off by Manganiello, who made a fashion statement in a fireman's pants and suspenders.

The red carpet was equally hot, with stars opting for short, flirty dresses or pants for the occasion instead of more formal gowns. Charlize Theron dressed in a knee-length red Lanvin with a peplum while her "Snow White and the Huntsman" costar Kristen Stewart wore a micro-mini by Guishem. But "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester had the evening's most confidently relaxed yet polished look in her cream-colored ensemble by Christian Cota.

Meester, who presented the award for best kiss with "That's My Boy" costars Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler, looked chic in her sleeveless jacket, shorts and silk print top. She accessorized with Neil Lane jewelry, a buff-nude envelope-style clutch by Jimmy Choo and buff-nude, suede Brian Atwood heels. Her pulled-back hair and bright poppy lipstick were perfect complements to her casual chic summer attire.
