When do you think that the NFL and NBA are going to have enough of their players getting thrown in jail, DUI charges, and drug possession and just start kicking guys out of the league? If we got caught doing any of that stuff as normal people we would lose our jobs, so why don't they? Is this really the image these two leagues want?

Actually, all kinds of people don't lose their jobs over drunk driving, etc. Whole lot of people, we don't even know they got arrested. But the NFL clearly, under Roger Goodell, is taking steps to clean up its streets. Baseball can't do much of anything, because its union is so strong, though I would say that baseball players generally stay more on the straight and narrow than do football and basketball players.

Would the Dallas Cowboys do Dez a solid and trade him? He needs to get out of the state of Texas.

I doubt it. His trade value would not be very high right now. But you're right. He needs to get out of Dallas.

What did you think about Grissom moving to tight end?

I think it says he wasn't cutting it at d-end, which is interesting, because I thought he was going to be really good. He's about the only guy in the last five years that I really got excited about without seeing him play. Teach me to get excited.

Berry, seems Phil Steele is high on OU. Your thoughts?

I don't have any. I love Phil Steele's magazine for its schedule -- it lists games from the last five years. But now that cfbdatawarehouse.com exists, I don't need it. So it's mindless fun but not particularly relevant.

Is Direct or Dish better on picking up on OU games if you live in SEC country?

I wouldn't know the difference if you strapped me to a satellite. I have no idea.

Did you see where Stern wants to limit NBA players in the Olympics to guys under 23? It would be a shame to not get to see guys like Durant and Westbrook on Team USA again, don't you think?

I'd like to see the Olympics get rid of all team sports. That's what I want. Or I would favor getting rid of all sports in which the Olympics are not the pinnacle -- basketball, golf, tennis, etc. So I guess you can see, I don't really care.

Do you think Big 12 coaches will say much about Joe Paterno/Penn State next week?

I don't know, but I hope they show better sense than did Gary Pinkel. Listen, say you feel sorry for Paterno. Say you don't know enough about it to speak. Say whatever you want. But don't give some glowing tribute to Faux Pa.

Though Grant Hill is old, do you think this move, along with all the other signings the clips have made this off season, puts them ahead of the Lakers in the West behind OKC and SA?
