OSU football: New assistant Van Malone tricked into starting his coaching career

When Van Malone’s NFL career ended, he had no coaching aspirations. But a coach at Waltrip High School in Houston convinced him to have a chat with the football team at his alma mater, and he quickly learned he had a knack for coaching.
