Cooler temperatures are in store for central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

Here's a look at the forecast in the coming days:

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. North wind 8 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 60. North wind 5 to 11 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph in the morning.

Monday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. West wind around 6 mph.

Tuesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 89.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89.

Thursday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 91.
