In addition to Carter Cloud at Heritage Hall, here are a few metro-area volleyball players to keep an eye on this season:

Allison Barr, Sr., Edmond North: Barr anchored last year's Huskies, who reached the state finals, and she'll do the same for new coach Kimo Aweau.

Courtney Bowie, Sr., Bethany: The 6-foot middle blocker will play a central role in the Bronchos' pursuit of a state tournament berth.

Sarah Jekel, So., Mount St. Mary: Second-team All-City as a freshman, Jekel joins a strong group of seniors in hopes of getting the Rockets to state.

Julie Lomheim, Sr., Christian Heritage: Gifted all-around player with a versatile skill set.

Lindsey Roy, Sr., Edmond Memorial: Providing senior leadership at setter and right-side hitter for the state's No. 1 team.

Amy Serowski, Jr., Southmoore: Third-year starter has helped build the SaberCats into a regular in the top 15 rankings.
