students.

• Jefferson Middle School: Hunter Mechanical & Controls will receive $452,000 for two new air chillers.

• Emerson High School: Alpha Plus Educational Systems will receive $30,000 to help teachers improve student test scores.

• U.S. Grant: Patricia Harris will receive nearly $10,000 for four days teaching English teachers how to incorporate the writing process into their curriculum. Steve Bowlware will receive $2,000 to teach three ACT prep classes to students and one to teachers.
