Renaissance Run in Midwest City raises money for nonprofits

The 26th annual Renaissance Run was held Saturday in Midwest City and was well-attended.

The 26th annual Renaissance Run was held to raise funds for charities and nonprofits in eastern Oklahoma County.

The event Saturday started with a 5k run beginning at the Midwest City Community Center.

Following the 5k run, participants were invited to a pancake breakfast.

The annual run attracts about 300 participants each year.
