A Kingfisher motorcyclist and an unidentified pedestrian in Rogers County were among four people killed in separate vehicle accidents late Friday and early Saturday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Betsy Randolph, patrol spokeswoman, said troopers are working to notify next of kin before identifying the pedestrian killed.
The man was crossing State Highway 20 just east of Sandstone Drive on Friday when he was hit by a car about 9:30 p.m.
Neither the car's driver, Angela Butler, 39, of Claremore, nor her 8-year old daughter and 3-year-old son were injured in the collision.
Clifford Scott Burhenn, 29, Kingfisher
Burhenn died Friday after his motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve on U.S. Highway 81, troopers said.
Burhenn was northbound shortly before 9 p.m., about three and a half miles north of Kingfisher in Kingfisher County, when the motorcycle went off the road and into the median.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead. He was not wearing a helmet, troopers said.
