No retaliation for past acts of terrorism

Oklahoman Published: September 28, 2012

President Obama's domestic policies concerning our economy have driven up the national debt, worsened unemployment, doubled the cost of gasoline and adversely affected the cost of food. Now, during these past two weeks, we've seen what his Middle East policies are doing. It took this administration one-and-a-half weeks to decide or admit that the killing of an ambassador and three other individuals on Sept. 11 in Libya was an act of terrorism! His secretary of state, ambassador to the United Nations and his press spokesman all said over and over that a low-budget video caused all of this unrest and violence.

This reminds me of President Clinton and his secretary of state saying they didn't know who bombed the USS Cole while it was docked in Yemen. Who did they think bombed this ship, killing 17 sailors? Mickey Mouse? The last ambassador killed in the line of duty was in Afghanistan during President Carter's presidency in 1979.

All three of these tragic acts were acts of war against the United States. No retaliation was associated with any of them! The inexperience and incompetence of these three administrations involved with these deadly events is obvious.
