Oklahoma City Thunder 'Rumbles' up fun for J.D. McCarty children in Norman

The Thunder mascot and team cheerleaders spent time with children with developmental disabilities at “Thunder Appreciation Day” at the J.D. McCarty Center in Norman.

The center at 2002 E Robinson St. staged a “Thunder Appreciation Day” for the children Thursday. The day included visits from the Thunder spirit and cheer squads, games and other activities.

The center provides a comprehensive program of rehabilitative care to Oklahoma's children with developmental disabilities from birth through age 21.
