A 21-year-old from Rochester, N.Y., is the new “Official Play-Doh Artist of the Year” for his sculptures of presidential candidates President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. Ian Williams won the first-ever such title and a $5,000 tuition stipend to the Rhode Island School of Design, which he attends. Hasbro worked with the school's sculpture and ceramics department to offer students the opportunity for the title and stipend.

Each entrant sculpted both the Democratic and Republican Party 2012 presidential candidates, Obama and Romney, using only Play-Doh compound. Entries were judged based on realism, craftsmanship, creativity, presentation and incorporation of the Play-Doh brand personality.

Williams, a fourth-year student, worked with Hasbro to create a variety of original Play-Doh creations for use on the brand's digital channels. Fans can keep up with Williams' work on the Play-Doh Facebook page:
