Security of American citizens take low priority

The United States spends billions of dollars securing borders all over the world. But when it comes to our own border with one of the most corrupt, violent nations in the world — Mexico — our government continues to drag its feet, as it's done for the past 25 years.

The United States spends billions of dollars securing borders all over the world. But when it comes to our own border with one of the most corrupt, violent nations in the world — Mexico — our government continues to drag its feet, as it's done for the past 25 years. Why does the security of American citizens have such a low priority? And why does our government continue to bend over backward to appease such a corrupt, inept government as Mexico?
