Regarding “Prone to crashes, intersection tops OKC's most dangerous list” (News, Sep 29): How is it that you can kill someone after making an illegal turn and not get a citation? How about manslaughter? Also, if the GPS voice command directs you to turn right and that takes you off of a cliff, do you obey the command?
As for the intersection at Belle Isle Boulevard and Northwest Expressway, I go through it four times a day and I see many violations. I can think of two possible remedies. In the short term, put a manned patrol car there. In the long term, close the expressway access to Walmart, etc. There are two entrances on the east side from Classen Boulevard.
