Mikael Granlund scored four goals and assisted on another as the Houston Aeros beat the Barons 6-2 in an AHL preseason game at the Cox Center.
Tyler Pitlick and Ryan Martindale scored Oklahoma City's goals.
The Barons open the regular season on Friday at the Lake Erie Monsters.
CHRIS BROWN WINS ADAMS TOUR EVENT AT BELMAR
Dallas product Chris E. Brown fired a final round 5-under 65 on Saturday to win the OK Kids Korral Championship at Belmar Golf Club.
The tournament is part of the Adams Pro Golf Tour.
Brown caught fire on the back nine with birdies on three of his first four holes. After a bogey on the Par 3 17th, Brown made up for it with a birdie on the final hole to post a 65. It was enough to secure a one-stroke victory at 14-under-par total.

OU MEN'S GOLF IN 6TH
The Oklahoma men's golf team climbed five spots to sixth place after shooting a second-round 286 (2-under) at the Brickyard Collegiate Championship in Macon, Ga.
The Sooners were one of only two teams (Virginia Tech) to shoot under par on Saturday. OU trails first-place Georgia by 17 strokes.
"The boys did a good job," OU head coach Ryan Hybl said. "It was nice to see us finish the round off."
Beau Titsworth led the Sooners in the second round, climbing 18 spots after carding a second-round 3-under 69 and is tied for sixth place.
The final round of the tournament starts at 8:20 a.m. Sunday.
SOONER WOMEN IN 7TH
The OU women's golf team carded a 297 in the second round of the Liz Murphey Fall Preview in Athens, Ga., to move into seventh place with a 36-hole 596 (20-over).
No. 13 Auburn leads the event by five strokes over second-place Alabama. The Sooners trail second place by 11 strokes.
OU junior Anne-Catherine Tanguay shot a team-best 72 to move into a tie for 22nd place.
OU VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS TCU
The OU volleyball team defeated TCU (3-0; 25-20, 25-20, 25-23) for its ninth sweep of the season at the University Recreation Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
The win improves Oklahoma to 14-5 on the year and 3-1 in Big 12 competition, while TCU drops to 13-5 overall, and 2-3 in conference action.
