State College Football Player of the Week: East Central quarterback Spencer Bond

Bond threw for three touchdowns in the Tigers' 41-3 rout of Northwestern State on Saturday.

*Scouting report: Bond led the Tigers' 41-3 rout of Northwestern State on Saturday in Ada. He completed 19 of 28 pass attempts for 226 yards and three touchdowns. He added 22 yards and a TD by rush. Bond played his third game as East Central's starter after beginning the season on the bench.

*Did you know? Bond's major is athletic training. ... He was a Class 4A All-State football honorable mention selection as a high school senior. Also starred in basketball for Madill. ... Bond is the second player from East Central this season who has been Player of the Week. Defensive end Armonty Bryant was selected in Week 2.
