Agritour to visit farms, winery

A bus tour of several local farms and a winery in central Oklahoma is planned for Nov. 8. The Oklahoma Agritourism Program will depart Harn Homestead at 7 a.m. and make additional stops at Frontier Farm, Sugar Moon, Clauren Ridge Vineyards and Winery and Cripple Creek Farms. Participants on the bus will have time to get to know other entrepreneurs, who may become future business partners, said the state Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, which organizes the event with the state Tourism and Recreation Department. The cost is $25 and includes meals and materials. Registration by Nov. 2 is required; call 488-7532 or 420-9242.
