Auction to benefit animal sanctuary

Free to Live Animal Sanctuary will hold its fall auction Oct. 28 at the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association, 420 E Britton Road. Free to Live is a nonprofit shelter for dogs and cats in Edmond. The silent auction begins at 3 p.m. and the live auction at 5. Food will be available during the silent auction as well as live entertainment from Heart and Soul and country singer Harvey Derrick. Items to be auctioned include a trip for two to Maui, a Hollywood package including tickets to tapings of The Tonight Show, Ellen and The Doctors and a Western Conference Finals basketball autographed by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. For more information or reservations, call 282-8617.
