Five weeks ago, sophomore T'Quan Wallace was just hoping for a chance to play as Casady's backup quarterback.

But an injury opened the door, and Wallace has exploded onto the scene. He threw for 428 yards and four touchdowns to spark a big Casady victory, a 42-34 victory over Dallas Cistercian Friday night.

Wallace threw three TDs in the second half as Casady rallied from a 34-14 halftime deficit.

“It's one of our biggest wins in a long time.” Casady coach Koby Scoville said. “We weren't looking very good. It wasn't schemes. It was execution and enthusiasm, so we talked about that at halftime, and the kids answered.”

Michael Parry scored three times in the second half, twice on TD passes from Wallace, a 20-yard interception return that capped the game.

In Wallace's four games as the starting quarterback, he has thrown for more than 1,000 yards with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions.

KINGFISHER LOGS FIFTH SHUTOUT

Most everyone knew Kingfisher was returning a lot of offensive firepower this season, but the defense has been on its game as well.

The Yellowjackets recorded their fifth shutout of the season and third straight, 61-0 over Centennial Friday.

Only Hennessey, which lost to Kingfisher 21-20 in Week 3, has scored more than a touchdown on the ‘Jackets. Bethel, Newcastle and Marlow remain on the Kingfisher schedule to close out the regular season.

TECUMSEH GETS MUCH-NEEDED WIN

Tecumseh coach Greg George told his players last week that the playoffs had already begun for them.
