SCOUTING IOWA STATE

Record: 4-2 overall, 1-2 Big 12; coming off 27-21 loss to Kansas State.

Best player: Pick a linebacker, either linebacker — Jake Knott or A.J. Klein, dominant players who lead the Cyclones in tackles with 57 and 50, respectively.

Why Iowa State could beat OSU: The Cyclones are a tough team that seems capable of one big road upset every year. And as an improved squad, and considering OSU's injuries, an ISU victory in Stillwater might not even be that big an upset.

Why Iowa State will lose to OSU: Inconsistent on offense, the Cyclones can't seem to settle on a full-time quarterback. The Cowboys, too, have been eyeing this game for a long time.
