FROM STAFF REPORTS Published: October 17, 2012

The Led Zeppelin concert film “Celebration Day” will be screened at 7 p.m. Wednesday at three Oklahoma City theaters.

The movie documents the hugely popular British rock band's December 2007 reunion performance at London's O2 Arena in tribute to their friend and Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. It was the first headline show by the band in 27 years, and more than 20 million fans applied for the 18,000 available tickets in a worldwide lottery.

The concert features founding members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones, along with Jason Bonham, son of the late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. The film is being presented by Omniverse Vision in high definition and surround sound on 1,500 screens in 40 markets worldwide.

Following the one-shot-only engagement, the film will be released in multiple video and audio formats on Nov. 19.

The film is being shown in Oklahoma City at Harkins Bricktown Theaters, 150 E Reno Ave.; Cinemark Tinseltown USA, 6001 N Martin Luther King Ave.; and AMC Quail Springs 24, 2501 W Memorial Road. For a full list of event theaters, go to ledzeppelin.-com.
