Two die in Oklahoma wrecks

Two people were killed Saturday on state roads, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Amber Rachelle Poulton, 28, Morrison

Poulton was a passenger in a pickup that was hit broadside by a tractor-trailer at the unmarked intersection of two Blaine County roads, three miles northwest of Okeene, troopers said. She died at the scene. The pickup, driven by James David Blom, 28, of Waukomis, was eastbound on County Road 0590 and the tractor-trailer, driven by Darrell Douglas Hinsley, 50, of Cove, Ark., was northbound on County Road 2600 when the accident occurred just before 10 a.m. Saturday. Blom was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital in Enid. Hinsley was admitted to Okeene Hospital in Okeene, troopers said.

Donald N. Eastep Sr., 74, Harrison, Ark.

Eastep was driving eastbound on U.S. Scenic 412 in Mayes County, about four miles west of Locust Grove, when his car hit an embankment and it rolled twice, troopers said. The accident occurred just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday. He died at the scene.
