AT&T has turned on its faster 4G LTE data network in Tulsa, which also will cover its customers in Oologah, Pryor, Wagoner, Muskogee, Coweta, Sand Springs, Owasso, Collinsville, Glenpool, Claremore, Sapulpa and Bixby. Steve Gray, general manager for AT&T Oklahoma, said the faster speeds are designed to meet customers' demands. “We continue to see demand for mobile Internet skyrocket, and our 4G LTE network in Tulsa responds to what customers want from their mobile experience — more, faster, on the best devices,” Gray said in a statement issued by the company.

Meanwhile, U.S. Cellular said it would launch its 4G LTE network in the same area on Monday. U.S. Cellular's 4G LTE coverage will include Tulsa, Bartlesville, Miami, Claremore, Eufaula, Muskogee, Wilburton, Henryetta, Okmulgee and McAlester.
