Dale Rogers center celebrates 100th birthday of woman for whom it is named

The Dale Rogers Center in Oklahoma City held a Western-theme party Thursday to honor the 100th birthday of actress and singer Dale Evans Rogers, for whom it is named.

The Dale Rogers Training Center held a 100th birthday celebration for Dale Evans Rogers with a Western theme on Thursday. Rogers was an actress and singer and the wife of Roy Rogers. During her adult years, Rogers became an advocate for people with developmental disabilities. The Dale Rogers Training Center is the oldest and largest community vocational training and employment center in Oklahoma, employing 1,500 people, including 1,200 with disabilities.
