Week ahead to bring sunshine and temperatures in the 70s to Oklahoma City

Sunshine, light winds and highs in the 70s will define the weather this week, the National Weather Service reports. Winds could pick up later in the week.

Here's a look at what's in store for Oklahoma City:

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. East wind 5 to 7 mph.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. East southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming southwest after midnight.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Southwest wind 7 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon.

Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. North wind 3 to 8 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 70. North northwest wind 7 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 42.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 75.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 50.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 79. Windy.

Thursday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 55. Windy.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Windy.

Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. Windy.

Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.
