SAN ANTONIO — It's still early in the American Hockey League season. Teams are still shaking off the cobwebs and shifting players. The Oklahoma City Barons, despite a potent lineup, are not immune to problems.

San Antonio goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris stopped all 27 shots he faced Sunday and blanked the Barons 2-0 before 3,991 fans at AT&T Center. Grumet-Morris withstood five Barons power-play chances. The Rampage defense held Edmonton Oilers stars Taylor Hall, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jordan Eberle to just three shots on goal — with Hall firing all three chances.

What's more, Barons coach Todd Nelson skated Hall, Nugent-Hopkins and Eberle on the same forward line.

The Barons' leading scorer, defenseman Justin Schultz, failed on three shots and had a nine-game point streak snapped.

Alex Petrovic and Colby Robak scored power-play goals for San Antonio (4-4-1), each getting an assist from John McFarland. Oliver Roy started in goal for the Barons and faced 24 total shots. Roy fell to 2-2-0 this season.

Oklahoma City (5-4-1) continues a three-game road swing at 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Abbotsford, the affiliate of the Calgary Flames.
