Oklahoma football notebook: Bob Stoops weighs in on upside-down Hook 'Em Horns
Stoops said, “ ... they don't seem to have a problem with it when they're doing well and they put it in everyone else's face, so when they're not doing so, and someone else does it, you get it the other way.”
Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops was asked Wednesday about the controversy stemming from Texas coach Mack Brown's comments on the Longhorn hand signal being turned upside down by opponents.

Last weekend, Texas receiver Mike Davis was penalized for mocking Texas Tech's “Guns Up” sign, and Brown was asked Monday about opponents who turn the Texas signal upside down.
“The Horns down is disrespectful,” Brown said. “We ought to talk about that as a league.”
Stoops said he wasn't going to “spend more than two seconds thinking about it.
“Maybe that's the downside of having a one-handed hand signal. The bottom line is, they don't seem to have a problem with it when they're doing well and they put it in everyone else's face, so when they're not doing so, and someone else does it, you get it the other way.
“So be it. That's the extent of ... that's it. I won't have another comment about it.”
NDULUE LEARNING TO LEAD
Sophomore defensive end Chuka Ndulue is the only major contributor on the defensive line who isn't a senior.
Ends David King and R.J. Washington — along with tackles Jamarkus McFarland, Casey Walker and Stacy McGee — will all be gone next season.
“I'm trying to learn from them as much as possible,” Ndulue said. “All those guy are gonna be gone next year. I'm trying to be around them as much as I can for next year. I'm the returning one next year. It's kind of slowly dawning on me.”
