Oklahoma football: Q&A with wide receiver Justin Brown

By Stephanie Kuzydym Published: November 10, 2012

Landry Jones admitted his pass was not great.

The diving, sliding catch that Justin Brown made 35-yards down the field in the end zone?

That, Jones said, was the great part of the play.

Brown rolled across the end zone, hopped to his feet, pointed two fingers to the sky and celebrated his fourth touchdown in an Oklahoma jersey and the seventh of his career.

The touchdown was one of two thrown by Jones in Oklahoma's 42-34 victory against Baylor.

What did you see on your touchdown?

It was a fade. Landry did a good job throwing it out there. He left it open for me to go get. so that's what I had to go do.

You now have more touchdowns at Oklahoma —

— Than I did at Penn State. I knew that was coming. Just how it goes. It was a different scheme at Penn State. Different coaches. So you can't compare the two. I probably would have had more at State if we were throwing the ball around more. Down here is different.

You're nine games in now. What's the transition been like?
