Another moment in history
On Oct. 23, we told you about Gail LoPresto, a longtime Putnam City School Board member who has had her children pose with The Oklahoman for a photograph after each presidential election since 1980. On Monday, she provided us with a copy of this year's photo. Son Tony LoPresto holds the newspaper with the election day results — headlined “OBAMA WINS AGAIN” — while daughter Miriam Conrady smiles for the camera. Gail LoPresto encourages Oklahomans to take photos with their children or grandchildren after similar milestones, providing a visual record of history.
