DHS child welfare specialist wrote about treatment

In a typed statement about his treatment by DHS, child welfare specialist Donald Wheeler wrote a DHS official met with him and his supervisor, Wes Priest, two days after a young girl, Serenity Deal, was beaten to death.

“He started off by saying, ‘I am here to support you.' After a few general comments, his countenance changed, and he said, ‘Someone is going to pay ...' and looked straight at Wes and me.”
