A 73-foot-tall Engelmann spruce destined to be the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree paused for an hour Friday in Oklahoma City.

The mammoth tree, taken from the White River National Forest in Colorado, is in the midst of a 24-day journey to Washington, D.C. It will arrive on Nov. 26.
