Oklahoma and Oklahoma State players in the NFL

Since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger, 307 Oklahoma and Oklahoma State players have been drafted.

The Detroit Lions have drafted 13 former Sooners and Cowboys since 1970 to rank fourth. NFC North rival Chicago actually has drafted the most OU and OSU players since the merger.

The Detroit Lions have drafted 13 former Sooners and Cowboys since 1970 to rank fourth. NFC North rival Chicago actually has drafted the most OU and OSU players since the merger.

20: Bears

17: Rams

14: Oilers/Titans

13: Lions, Dolphins, Patriots

12: Cowboys, Broncos, Packers, Falcons

11: Vikings, Saints, Chargers, Browns*

10: Cardinals, Giants, Colts

9: Buccaneers, Eagles, Bengals

8: Chiefs, Raiders, Bills

7: Redskins, Jets, 49ers, Ravens*

6: Steelers

3: Seahawks

2: Panthers, Jaguars

1: Texans

* Players that were drafted by Cleveland from 1970 to 1996 essentially are part of the Ravens origination that moved from Cleveland to Baltimore. If you flip-flop those draft picks, the Ravens drafted 14 Bedlam players, the Browns 4.
