Chairmen: Kirsten and David Griffin were event co-chairmen and Jeanetta and Everett Dobson were honorary co-chairmen.
Decor: Eventures created a stunning Tuscany decor that offered a kaleidoscope of bright colors and psychedelic-like lighting. A dominant feature was the huge CFH flowered letters that dominated one wall. Table chairs were in hot pink with black and white striped skirts. Trees flanked the entrance hall and soft votive lights with greenery embellished the mantel. One arch covered in greenery featured two children's swings.
The evening: Cocktails, dinner, a live auction and dancing to a band billed as “the think big band'' kept the evening fun. A piece of Desmond Mason's art was auctioned.

The Evening: The theme was “right brain/left brain.” Half of the room's tables were covered in black linens and white dishes and the other half in opposite colors. Floral arrangements of hydrangeas were dyed black and white.

The Program: Participating in the program were event co-chairmen Julie Hall and Donna Bozalis, Shana Huffman, Lika Behar and Suzanne Owens. Annie Bohanon gave a moving tribute to the late Gene Barth.
Special: Cole McDaniel gave a patient testimonial about his experience at HRI, his surgeries and his renewed quality of life. A courageous young man, McDaniel moved the audience who quickly rose to their feet and applauded when he finished.

The Evening: Guests wore 1950s attire and competed for best costume. Dave and the Wavetones provided the music, and a “homecoming court” was selected. Thunder Girls representatives also attended.

What: A nonprofit international organization whose purpose is to promote educational and professional development of individuals employed in or affiliated with the petroleum energy and allied industries. The evening was a tribute to employers for their generous support throughout the year.
