Man accused in 7 felonies
A man accused of beating and choking his girlfriend before ordering his pit bull terrier to attack her was charged Monday in Oklahoma County District Court with seven felonies, including domestic assault and battery, court records show. Christopher Reid Birchmier, 32, of Edmond was arrested Nov. 13 after the woman told police he assaulted her for two hours and then commanded the dog to attack her.
