CASHION — Ty Reasnor grew up wanting to be like Cashion's quarterbacks before him.

He saw Cayden Cochran practicing before school nearly each day. He also looked up to Jeremy Seaton, hoping to be like both his junior and senior years.

Now, though, Reasnor might be the better quarterback at Cashion, leading the undefeated Wildcats into the Class A semifinals for the first time at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Norman High School against No. 1 Wynnewood.

“It was always the dream to be the quarterback here,” the 6-foot-2, 180-pound quarterback said.

In doing just that, Reasnor has posted eye-popping numbers this season with 3,239 yards passing, 45 touchdowns and just two interceptions — one last week against Talihina and one earlier this season against Minco.

“We've been pretty good at not throwing a lot of picks here,” Reasnor. “I think all of the results is our good play-calling and stuff like that.”

Following players like Cochran and Seaton can be challenging. Cochran is playing at Division II Valdosta State (Ga.), while Seaton is a walk-on tight end/fullback at Oklahoma State who is starting to see playing time.
