Two people, including a 16-year-old girl, are facing murder charges in the death of an accomplice during an attempted robbery, court documents show.
Johnathan Dominique Daniels, 20, and Kelcee Hollier, 16, both of Oklahoma City, were charged Thursday in Oklahoma County District Court with first-degree murder in the Nov. 15 shooting death of Jonathan Braggs, 19, of Edmond.
Prosecutors allege Daniels, Hollier and Braggs acted together to rob Davieon Smith, 19, of Oklahoma City, with a gun during a drug transaction.
Under state law, homicide charges can be filed when someone is killed during the commission of a felony.
Hollier told police she knew about the plan to rob Smith of his drugs and accompanied Braggs and Daniels to a location in the 3100 block of NW 51 to commit the robbery, according to a probable cause affidavit.
A judge issued an arrest warrant for Hollier, who told police she knew Braggs was armed with a handgun.
