Norman Public Library sets December computer classes

The Norman Public Library will sponsor free computer classes this month.

The Norman Library, 225 N Webster Ave., has announced its computer class schedule for December. Classes are free, but registration is required.

Classes offered are:

Personal computers basics, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Computer basics, 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Basic Windows 7, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

File management, 1 to 3 p.m. Friday.

Microsoft Word (four-part class) 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 10-13.

Microsoft Excel (three-part class) 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 19-21.

Twitter basics, 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Little Axe Community Center.

Holiday greeting cards, 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Email basics, 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 10.

Pinterest, 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 11.

Pinterest, 10 a.m. to noon, Dec. 12, Little Axe Community Center.

Internet 1, 10 a.m. to noon, Dec. 14.

Facebook for beginners, 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 17.

What's Twitter? 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 18.

Thank you cards for everyone, 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 26.

Computer security, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 27.

Blogging for beginners, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 28.
